The Use of Spatial Agricultural Information Across the Supply Chain

We are living in an age of a plethora of DATA and information overload. This mainly exists within the information technology space and is also known as “BIG DATA”. There is however issues around the availability, accessibility and interpretability of such INFORMATION: e.g. HOW can one access this INFORMATION?; How does this information affect your decision-making process?

However, before one can answer these questions it is important to determine (i) where your business resides along the agricultural supply chain?, and (ii) what information your business is most important in order to make a more informed decision that will lead to enhancing your business profitability and viability?

This survey is to determine what the key areas of operation and spatial information needs are for you or your business, within the agricultural supply chain.

The survey should only take approximately 5-8 minutes to complete. Your NAME and affiliation will be confidential. All answers from this survey will be analysed and final results will be available via emails (if provided) afterwards.
