NCI is hosting a Data Intensive Workshop to train new and experienced users to access and use the wide variety of geophysical, Earth sciences and environmental data stored at NCI. The Workshop will provide a hands-on learning experience for engaging with petabytes of data, directly on NCI's interactive environment as well as via the desktop using network enabled tools.
NCI would like to invite users to register their interest for attending the Workshop, to take place on the ANU campus in November.
This event will be suited to early-career researchers, experienced data practitioners and experts in the fields of climate, weather, remote sensing, geophysics and environmental science. The Workshop will cover a variety of tools and services for accessing and analysing data, including NCI’s Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and NERDIP services such as THREDDS and GeoNetwork.
